Christoph Raninger
Christoph Raninger joined the Syz Group as Chief Financial Officer in 2025 and currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Syz Capital, the Group’s alternative investments arm. With an extensive investment banking background and more than 25 years of experience in the financial industry, Christoph has held C-level positions for over 18 years across leading European banking groups.
Prior to joining Syz, he served as Chief Executive Officer of Wiener Privatbank SE, a publicly listed private bank in Austria, where he successfully repositioned the institution as a specialist in private banking, real-asset finance, and capital markets. His previous leadership roles include CEO of Austrian Anadi Bank and executive board mandates at Österreichische Volksbanken AG, BAWAG Group, and UniCredit CA IB AG.
A graduate of the University of Vienna and several international postgraduate programmes, Christoph combines strategic acumen with a deep understanding of market dynamics, risk governance, and value creation in the private wealth and alternative investments space.

Olivier is co-founder and Managing Partner of Syz Capital. With over 18 years of professional experience of which a decade in alternative investments, Olivier leads the firm’s indirect investments efforts, and is a member of the Executive and Investment committees.
Prior to co-founding Syz Capital, Olivier was Head of Business Development and a member of the Executive and Investment Committees at ACE & Company, where he contributed to the rapid growth of the business. Prior to that, Olivier was a Partner at Brennus Asset Management, a fund investing in European convertible bonds and other equity-linked credit instruments. Previously, Olivier worked as senior analyst for Signet Capital Management in London, where he oversaw the European alternative fund portfolio. Olivier started his career in audit at KPMG, then wealth management at Société Générale in Switzerland.
Olivier holds a Master of Science in Management from HEC Lausanne, and a MBA from INSEAD. He is also a CFA charterholder.

Julien is COO of Syz Capital. With over 16 years of experience in the finance industry, he is in charge of overseeing the administrative, operational and risk functions at the firm, being a member of the Executive and Risk Committees.
Julien has extensive experience in asset management and private banking with a key focus in Strategic Planning, automation, and cost optimization. He successfully led several M&A transactions for the Syz Group. Prior to that, he has been working for Mirabaud & Cie SA as an analyst in the Fund of Hedge Funds unit.
