Our flagship litigation finance program, Themis, invests in legal proceedings through co-investments, direct and secondary transactions, in order to build a highly diversified portfolio of uncorrelated investments for our investors. We invest in single and collective litigation as well as arbitration across claim types and jurisdictions.

Themis Fund I has invested in 94 cases, 13 countries,  and 27 claim types. We are currently investing from Themis Fund II.

Hera Law Firm Lending

Syz Capital provides recourse and non-recourse financing to law firms and corporates secured by portfolios of claims and legal receivables.

Our law firm lending platform, Hera, provides investors with an exposure to a book of senior secured loans to established plaintiff side law firms representing individuals and consumers on a success fee basis. All our loans are secured by a diverse portfolio of cases, benefit from conservative LTVs and are structured with maturities lower than 5 years. This large, but specialist segment of the direct lending market offers attractive spreads with limited correlation. To date, Hera has mostly invested in loans to US mass tort law firms.
